Day 1 Arrival Amiens
After check-in you should definitely visit the marvellous cathedral which is also part of the UNESCO world heritage. Enjoy your stroll through this charming and animated city.
Day 2 Amiens – Abbeville 48 km
You leave Amiens and cycle along the canal. In the marshland Marais des Cavins, you can take a break and enjoy the fantastic nature. In Long, stop and visit the castle and its impressive gardens. Wonderful riverscale and diverse nature are dominating the last kilometres before your arrival in Abbeville.
Day 3 Abbeville – Le Crotoy 70 km
You leave Abbeville on the towpath and cycle along the canal till you reach the famous Bay of the Somme. The air starts to smell salty and announces your approach to the seaside with its wide beaches and dunes. The Bay of the Somme is considered as one of the most beautiful bays worldwide. With a bit of luck, you see seals hanging out on the sand banks and enjoying the sun. Afterwards you leave the seaside and cycle into the interior through beautiful fields and green woods till you reach the coastal town of Le Crotoy.
Day 4 Le Crotoy – Le Crotoy 55 km
Today’s tour is leading you again into the interior, passing the forest of Crécy. Through broad fields you are returning to Le Crotoy. On a beach stroll you can enjoy the marvellous view on the sea and observe the famous Salt meadow lamb while they enjoy grazing.
Day 5 Le Crotoy – Abbeville 61 km
You leave Le Crotoy and cycle to Valery-sur-Somme. There you can enjoy a coffee with a magnificent view on the bay. You cycle till Le Hourdel and then further on the coast of the Channel. Through the inland you reach the canal of the Somme. Appreciate the last moments at this spectacular bay and continue your tour on the towpath till you reach Abbeville.
Day 6 Departure
